What We Do

Inspired by the community at Austin Women's Boxing Club, Owner and Head Trainer Julia Gschwind and Coach Alex Plichta set out to create a nonprofit to bring the excitement, fun and empowerment of boxing to more girls in the Austin community. HeadStrong Girls' Boxing offers FREE classes in the communities and schools where their students live, ensuring location and expense is never a barrier to access quality training and instruction.
